What is Fourth Tech?▾
Practitioner-led training in governance, risk & compliance (GRC), cybersecurity, and AI governance. You don't just read theory — you do the real work in our hands-on Atlas labs: assess a company against frameworks, gather evidence, and build the documentation the job actually requires.
Do I need a technical or IT background?▾
No. Our programs start from the fundamentals and are built for career-changers. Many of our students came in with no IT background and finished job-ready.
Is the training self-paced or live?▾
Both. Courses and career paths are self-paced and read-first (no endless videos). Bootcamps add a live, instructor-led cohort. You pick the format that fits your life.
Programs
What's the difference between a course, a career path, and a bootcamp?▾
A course is a single credential on one topic. A career path sequences several programs toward a named role (e.g. GRC Analyst) and ends with a capstone. A bootcamp is an intensive program with hands-on labs and a capstone. Take the quiz if you're not sure which fits.
What are the Atlas labs?▾
Atlas is our simulated GRC workbench. You build real artifacts — risk registers, SSPs, control assessments, POA&Ms, a Statement of Applicability, vendor assessments, and more — the same work you'd do on the job.
Do programs include exams and a certificate?▾
Yes. Modules are quizzed, programs end with a final exam, and you earn a Fourth Tech certificate on completion. Career paths and bootcamps also include a capstone project for your portfolio.
Pricing & payment
How much do programs cost?▾
Individual courses run about $249–$499, career paths $949–$1,399, and live bootcamps $2,000 per seat. Exact pricing is shown on each program's page.
Do you offer payment plans?▾
Yes — most paths and bootcamps can be paid in installments (for example, 3 monthly payments). See funding & payment options.
Can my employer pay or sponsor me?▾

Refunds & policies
What's your refund policy?▾
You can request a full refund within 3 calendar days of enrollment, as long as you've accessed no more than 5% of the content and haven't downloaded the course materials. Downloading the materials makes the enrollment non-refundable. Full details in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Certificates & outcomes
Is the certificate accredited?▾
A Fourth Tech certificate recognizes completion of our training; it's not an accredited academic degree, and it's independent of third-party certification bodies like (ISC)², CompTIA, ISACA, or EC-Council. Our cert-prep programs prepare you for those exams, but we don't issue their credentials.
Will this get me a job?▾
We prepare you to be genuinely job-ready — real labs, a portfolio of artifacts, and in-depth interview prep — but no training can guarantee employment. What we promise is that you'll finish able to do the work, not just pass a test.
