Academic Integrity & Honesty Policy

Last updated: June 17, 2026

A Fourth Tech credential means you did the work. This policy sets the standard of honesty we expect from every learner, because the value of your certificate depends on it.

What we expect

Your submitted work — exams, assignments, capstones, and lab artifacts — must be your own. You are here to build real skill you can defend in an interview and on the job.

What is not allowed

Cheating on exams, including sharing or obtaining questions or answers, or using unauthorized aids during a timed assessment.

Plagiarism — submitting someone else's work, words, or artifacts as your own without attribution.

Unauthorized use of AI tools to generate work you present as your own where a program states it is not permitted. (Where AI use is allowed, we will say so, and you must disclose it.)

Sharing your account, or completing a program on someone else's behalf.

Consequences

Violations may result in a failed assessment, removal from a program without refund, and revocation of any certificate earned. Serious or repeated violations may result in a permanent ban. We may withhold or rescind a credential we have reason to believe was not earned honestly.

Reporting

If you believe a violation has occurred, contact us through our Contact page. We review every report.
